June 2021 – Another warm June

The mean temperature for central England for June 2021 was 15.53°C which was 1.37°C above the 1961-1990 LTA. It could have been an even warmer month if hadn’t been for the cold spell mid month which cancelled the very warm start that the month had. Despite the warmth it was only the warmest June since 2018 and the 27th warmest since 1772 in the daily series.
