Mar 2021 – Cold first week then mild and exceptionally warm end

The mean temperature for the month was 7.2°C which was +1.52°C above the 1961-1990 LTA. The first week of March 2021 was a little on the cold side with a couple of night frosts, but temperatures gradually recovered as the month went on, and the month ended with two exceptionally warm days that both set new date records for daytime maxima on the 30th and 31st.
