Mean temperatures for the first two weeks in June remain unchanged in almost 250 years

Almost mid way though June and in the first 14 days of the month June is ranking quite high at 11th warmest since 1772. It’s still lags behind 1982 and 1976, the fourth warmest June in the series, is still lurking in 25th position. There is no way on earth that June 2021 will ever threaten 1846 as the warmest June on record. It’s interesting to note, looking at the linear trend, that mean temperatures since 1772 for the first two weeks in June have remained unchanged for almost 250 years.
